How to Become a JDM Educator
Follow these steps to register your dayhome. Read each step carefully before you start.

Read our Welcome page to understand what we offer and what we require. Make sure you meet the requirements to run a licensed dayhome in Alberta.
Pay Your $200 Registration Deposit
Send $200 by e-Transfer to confirm your spot. This holds your place while we prepare your registration package. Include your full name in the message.
Refundable with one month written notice + Withdrawal Form. No notice = deposit forfeited.
Wait for Your Portal Invitation
After we confirm your deposit — usually within 24 hours on business days — we will email you your portal login details.

Inside your Educator Portal you will find all the documents you need to complete.
Consultant Visits Your Home
A JDM consultant will contact you to schedule two home visits. Both include a Health & Safety inspection. All checks must be completed before your contract is signed.
